Catawba

Combining the legendary breeding of Cor de la Bryere and foundation hunter Thoroughbred lines, Catawba is a small package standing at 14.3h.  He makes an excellent cross with small to medium ponies to produce athletic medium or large ponies or add refinement to Horse mares. Catawba consistently passes incredible scope over fences, terrific movement, and most importantly, kind and willing temperaments.

Catawba ranked #5 USEF Pony Hunter Sires 2023.  His offspring have been competitive from the short stirrup through the division.

Greymeadows Charge Card is by our senior stallion Catawba, out of holsteiner mare, Whimsical WT.  Charge Card is a compact, 15.1h boy, possessing the same amazing athleticism and gentle temperament as his sire. He showed wonderful trainability under saddle. His first foal crop was born in 2020.  Charge Card's offspring are demonstrating the scope and temperament that are characteristic of his sire's get.  We're excited to see these foals develop and begin their show careers.
